Using art in research allows us to explore realities that are not easy to access, identify, or capture.Experiences and relationships often can’t be adequately captured or conveyed. “Art is always just beyond language.”My purpose in writing and making art is always to make visible what is invisible. Art provides a way of knowing that is different than words, can give access to that which is not accessible with verbal analysis.
